A&A Services just completed a window project for one of our new customers. This customer had his entire roof done a couple of years ago, and the contractor he used did not think to replace his aging skylights as well. As a result, the homeowner has been enduring skylight leaks even after his roof was replaced.
A&A was able to diagnose the leak quickly, and the only solution was to get rid of the ancient skylights currently installed and replace them with a new skylight that is both efficient and weather-proof. In addition to replacing the skylights, portions of the surrounding roof were also replaced to ensure a weather-tight seal around the perimeter of the windows.
The new skylights installed also incorporated a solar energy component, which entitles the home owner to a generous 30% tax credit. The customer’s roof no longer leaks and they have beautiful, up-to-date skylights that will add to the value of their home.
