We installed this deck in Salem at this house. Beforehand this deck was just a couple of concrete stairs, we built the wood all around the existing steps, and we actually went right through the driveway and with a jackhammer we were able to create holes for the deck posts. We do all kinds of decks at A&A Services. We do wrap around decks, outside porches, existing porches, you name it. We actually built the back deck in the past for this house. On the closeup of where the deck attaches to the house, you can see the ice and water shield we’ve installed so that way no water will ever run behind the house which eliminates the possibility of any deck rot.When we’re done this is one excellent looking deck. It is a smaller deck but if you’re ever in need for a porch or a deck job in Massachusetts give A&A Services a call. The veneer looks great, and even on a smaller job in a smaller setting this deck is going to provide a lot of look and character that these people were looking for. These steps are also much safer and less prone to icing. You can see how clean we left the area, nothing there but a brand new deck.
