Shed Door Replacement Project in Marblehead, MA

Challenge

A previous client called us asking to do a complete replacement of their shed doors, including all new hardware.

Solution

Upon arriving to the jobsite, our foreman began by completely removing and disposing of the sheds double doors and all associated hardware. Once that was complete, our foreman began to build the new shed doors from scratch with white PVC versatek boards, consisting of beadboard on one side and barn board on the other to keep the asthetic feel of the shed. Our foreman also installed preprimed pine backer boards to each door to connect the 4 new black, heavy-duty T-hinges to the shed.

To finish up the project, our foreman added a white PVC astragal to the doors to close the gap between them, a new black pull handle, and then finished the doors off with a fresh coat of white exterior acrylic paint.
