I recently worked on a home in Reading, MA, where the old wood clapboard siding had seen better days. It was worn out, weathered, and ready for a complete overhaul. We started by stripping off the old siding and wrapping the entire house in Tyvek® house wrap, carefully taping every seam to ensure a tight weather barrier.

For the new look, we installed CertainTeed Monogram® vinyl siding in a Flagstone color, using the double four-inch clapboard style for a classic appearance. One of the trickier details was a half-round window. For that, we installed a flexible J-channel, which was the perfect solution to fit the curve cleanly.
